Honda Civic D17 / D16V1 T3 Turbo Kit with Oil Cooler
Turbo package listed for 2001-2005 Honda Civic D17 SOHC and D16V1 SOHC applications. Confirm your engine code, trim and installation clearances before ordering. This package includes an oil cooler and external wastegate, unlike the internal-wastegate Stage 3 package.
Included components
- T3 turbocharger: listed .57 compressor wheel trim, .50 A/R compressor housing, .63 A/R turbine housing, 3-inch inlet, 2-inch outlet, wet-float bearings and 1/8 NPT oil inlet. Oil-fitting gaskets and mounting studs included.
- Cast turbo manifold: large primaries, extra-thick flange, T3 flange, ported and polished design.
- Front-mount intercooler: TIG-welded aluminum construction, thick core, 2.5-inch hot inlet and cold outlet.
- Universal aluminum piping kit: 16 stainless worm-gear clamps; two 2.5-inch 90-degree silicone couplers; six 2.5-inch straight couplers; two each of 2.5-inch 90-, 60- and 45-degree bends; two straight 2.5-inch pipes. Modification may be required.
- Manual boost controller: CNC-machined anodized aluminum with installation kit.
- Blow-off valve: installation kit included.
- Slim cooling fan: reversible push/pull design with mounting tabs; listed thicknesses of 1.25 inches at the outer perimeter and 2.50 inches at the inner perimeter.
- Electronic turbo timer: LED display and wiring.
- Turbo oil-line installation package: listed 18-inch, 5/8-inch return line rated at 550 PSI; 77-inch straight and 36-inch angled feed lines; T-fitting, fittings, clamps, gaskets and hardware. Verify engine connections.
- Adjustable fuel pressure regulator: pressure gauge and installation kit.
- 15-row oil cooler kit: aluminum bar-and-fin core, approximately 13 x 5.5 x 2 inches; four mounting brackets; CNC-machined billet aluminum oil plate with 1/8 NPT ports; two braided stainless lines with aluminum swivel fittings. Original listed line specifications are 7/8 inch, over 200 PSI, and 52 inches long each (also stated as 4.4 feet). Oil-filter adapter thread pitch is listed as 1.5mm; confirm thread diameter and compatibility before installation. May be used alongside a compatible factory oil cooler.
- Oil catch can: polished finish and installation kit.
- Billet aluminum fuel filter: 6061-T6 construction, 6AN fittings, mounting brackets and removable, cleanable filter.
- 35mm external wastegate: 2-bolt flange, anodized finish, gaskets, flanges and installation kit.
- Coolant sensor bung: aluminum construction, 38mm hose connections and two installation clamps.
Installation and safety
Professional installation, appropriate fueling, engine management and custom tuning are required. A suitable downpipe may be required and is not listed among the included components. Universal piping and vehicle connections may require adapters or fabrication. Confirm accessory clearances; retention of air conditioning and power steering is not guaranteed. No horsepower output, oil-temperature reduction or stock-engine boost level is guaranteed. Verify emissions requirements before public-road use, and keep hot exhaust components safely clear of wiring, hoses and surrounding parts.
